Today (April 5, 2025), the army sent a second shift of 55 troops to join the "Mandalay 82" operation, which is a humanitarian relief operation for the earthquake in Myanmar. The mission will last 8 days and will have 2 main missions: a medical mission that will provide assistance to at least 100 people per day, and a technical mission to build 30 temporary shelters per day.

The trip was also attended by Mr. Maris Sengiampong, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to negotiate with the Myanmar government to establish an ASEAN Coordination Center for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Management, which will use the Air Force area as a distribution point for aid to Myanmar.
